The Art of BRIAN M. VIVEROS

As an artist I'm constantly looking and poking around different art works and artists. My most recent find, has no doubt become my newest, favorite artist. Brian M. Viveros has made my personal understanding of fetish art work broaden and branch out to new possibilities and beauties.

My understanding of fetish art work was very limited and only went as far as perversion of the female figure, but his artwork has changed that opinion. I now see the potential in fetish art work with the sex appeal of alluring eyes cigarettes, and cigars matched with ruby lips and fleshy peal-textured skin.

Viveros has not limited his artwork to simple beauties though, he branches out in the theme of the female. In some cases we see a pin-up WWII type of beauty, in another we see a Spanish rose. His work, has inspired my latest personal project (though my own attempt in comparision to his is quite shameful)

His painting mediums are mixes of oil paints, acrylics, air brush, and ink. He produces and sells his work both the originals and prints.

His creativity has not been limited to his paintings and sketches though, he also works with film--I have not seen any of his filmed works, but as an artist I can say how extremely important it is to experiment and not limit yourself to only one medium or interest. This in turn provides an outlet where other left over creativity juices can flow and be used to create something different from the artists prospective.

Overall, I give Mr. Viveros four golden stars as an artist, (I cannot give the fifth since I cannot see the physical quality of the work--yet)
